Chanels Plane Chic Couture Show

Chanel have brought a new meaning to the phrase 'Plane Chic'. The latest Couture show saw the Grand Palais in Paris, France transformed into a 'private jet'. The runway was complete with floor lighting, numbered seating and there was also a slatted roof which revealed a 'faux sky' to give the audience the feeling that they were actually in flight. At the end of the show the entrance of the catwalk featured a image of the pilots room.




The Spring/Summer collection showcased shades of blue and monochrome aswell as longer hemlines which dominated most of the collection. The designs were all about differenet textures, the collection featured sequined dress, jeweled tights and rouche detailing.

Models were seem with more punky styled hair, either sleeked back in a quiff or in a messy mochian.

Amongst the audience there were celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Alice Dellal, Daphae Guinness Vanessa Paradis, Diana Kruger, and Elizabeth Olsen.
